About Me

 

I'm a retired architect; living in the Charlotte, NC area.  After a 40 year career in commercial architecture in the Midwest, my wife and I retired to the Carolinas to be closer to family; and for the warmer winters.  Besides "grandparenting", volunteering and doing some independent consulting, I have indulged my creative impulses by taking up painting (again).  Over the years I have painted a little in fits and starts but not in a consistent way.  Now I am able to paint consistently and I'm enjoying it more than ever.

 

I think of myself as more of a hobbyist than professional.  I am a member of the Guild of Charlotte Artists, and I submit paintings for public display at most of their shows.
